Treasurer
Caroline Glitre
Caroline joined as Treasurer in 2019 and feels privileged to have the opportunity to support the charity and Barnet’s looked-after children and care leavers. She passionately believes that all children should have the opportunity to become who they want to be.

Caroline has been the Head of Internal Audit at Barnet Council since 2013. In this role, she is responsible for providing independent assurance over the council’s internal controls framework, including its financial controls.

Prior to her time at Barnet, Caroline spent eight years at Grant Thornton where she trained as a public sector external auditor, qualifying as a Chartered Institute of Public Finance account in 2008.

Before training as an accountant, Caroline was an Office Manager for a small charity, ran a record label and taught English in Japan. She graduated from Manchester University with a BA degree in Psychology in 1997.
She lives in London with her husband, two children and a dog.
