Brett Service
Brett is a member of the Live Unlimited Board of Trustees, having first joined as a founding trustee in 2018. He initially led the Voice of The Child stream, before stepping away in Spring 2021 and returning in Spring 2026. As a Barnet care leaver, Brett is deeply committed to ensuring that the voices of beneficiaries are heard at board level, and to working collaboratively with fellow trustees and charity staff to create opportunities that go beyond those offered by the local authority.

Alongside his trustee responsibilities, Brett serves as a Civil Servant in His Majesty’s Government, including roles within the Diplomatic Service and 10 Downing Street. He has previously drawn on his own care experience in his role as a Care Experienced Ambassador for the Rees Foundation, where he advises and challenges the foundation on its services for Care Experienced People across the UK.
Brett is proud to return to Live Unlimited and remains dedicated to empowering care experienced members of the community to reach their full potential.
