Join our Volunteer Research Programme for Care Leavers

We are excited to present a remarkable opportunity for care-experienced young people from Barnet to participate in our volunteer research project. The project aims to explore the challenges that prevent young people from participating in volunteering activities, with the intention of dispelling any misconceptions.

 

If you are between the ages of 16 to 25 and seeking a new challenge, this might be the perfect fit for you! You will need 2 hours volunteering time per week and half an hour to check in with Live Unlimted to see how it's going.

 

We will connect you with volunteer programmes that match your interests, allowing you to share your skills and make a meaningful difference in your community. By giving just 2 hours a week, you will also acquire new skills, enhance your confidence, and promote mental, physical, and social wellness.

 

Additionally, you will receive recognition and rewards for the time you contribute to volunteering through Tempo time credits. Just 2 hours a week can open the door to a variety of enjoyable activities, such as entry tickets to the cinema, theatre, ice skating, or even a boat ride on the Thames, as well as services like massages or haircuts.
