Peer Lives
Free peer mentor training from Live Unlimited and Middlesex University
Thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund, we are delighted to be offering a free peer mentoring scheme for care leavers aged 18-27 in conjunction with Middlesex University. We are looking for young people who would like to train to be peer mentors.

What is a peer mentor?
A peer mentor is someone who supports another person by listening, encouraging, and sharing their own experience in a helpful way. A peer mentor is not there to fix problems or give expert advice. Instead, they offer understanding, guidance, and support because they have been through similar situations themselves. As a peer mentor, you listen, share what’s helped you, and help others feel understood and supported.
Where: Hendon Town Hall/Middlesex University
When: Training one or two days towards the end of May/early June.
Cost: Free. We are offering a £20 Love2Shop gift voucher to anyone who attends the training to become a peer mentor. Travel expenses will be paid and refreshments provided on the training day.
If you would like to take part or find out more about this opportunity, please email hello@liveunlimited.org.uk as soon as possible.
